though hope was used up
the pink cookie was a balm
to her troubled soul

Animal cookies with pink icing = best cookies EVER.

Posted by Jason at March 9, 2004 11:51 PM

they remind me of peptobismol (sp?)...

Posted by lindsay at March 10, 2004 08:14 PM

And that's a bad thing?

Posted by Jason at March 10, 2004 09:18 PM

i agree that those pink icing animal cookies are the greatest. one of my favorites...but does anything top girl scout cookies? i think not...

by the way, as bad as peptobismol tastes, i've always had a positive idea of it in my head, because, after all, it always made me feel better,(i can actually feel it coating my stomach!) and feeling better almost instantly is great.

ew. feeling something coat my stomach does not sound agreeable.

trust me, it's the best...:-)

pink cookie 2: another haiku

sweet pepto cookie
coating, soothing, relieving
on dark, bismol days

ha, ha, ha! nice one... i keep thinking of the commercial where it shows the pepto coating the stomach.

Posted by charity at March 11, 2004 09:39 AM

yes, that commercial...that's exactly how it feels too! i'm tellin' ya....

(that second haiku is awesome, r.)

i love you for that 'bismol' placement in the haiku, renae. (well, and for many other reasons as well)
