there are many catchy phrases in our vernacular and i would encourage you to start including "bring the partridge" as one of them. "bring the partridge" basically means to "do it up". this photo was taken towards the end of one night that we "brought the partridge." specifically we had an expensive four course meal at j.finnegans with a good glass of wine. we then headed back down the street to our house and proceeded to play a rousing game of taboo. we played regular taboo with intermittant lightning rounds of "lotr" taboo, where you had to reference lotr in trying to get the other people to guess your word. it was one such lightning round that this photo took place. ahhh... i love bringing the partridge.
thanks for letting me post this photo girls. you're good sports.
renae, you can make me laugh harder than most anyone. case in point? this photo. yup, it was a pee-in-your-pants, no-need-to-do-crunches, my-stomach-hurts kind of moment.
BA-RING THE PARTRIDGE!
i don't understand your inside jokes.
dd, "bring the partridge" comes from behind the scenes extras on one of the LOTR dvds (can't recall which one). dominic monaghan is mimicking john rhys davies (sp?) at dinner one night. (OR we do have inside jokes with the cast/crew of LOTR... in our dreams maybe.)
ha ha! the post above is from me (rebecca) and NOT my husband. boy, does that last sentence sound odd coming from his lips. ; ) hee hee.
I must say, that comment was a LOT funnier when I was thinking Jeremy said it. Tee hee.
