There are a few statements/thoughts/lyrics swimming around in my head, making the mental rotation and gathering friends. So as an experiment, I think I'll just spit them out here (context on request) and see if they'll leave me alone, at least for a while.
"I have more in common with any person, doesn't matter who it is, than I do with God." (This might have been reversed actually: "I have less in common with God than I do with any given person.")
"Help me live for good tomorrow. Today's too late and full of sorrow."
"We're moving to Seattle, right?"
"One of the best things about a growing friendship is learning the little, random details that make each person unique. sometimes the details that might seem arbitrary and unimportant can be much more intimate than we realize."
"Okay."
i hope you realize this blog is now evil. i can't even scroll down to read the latest comments section without it spoiling a RECENTLY RELEASED FILM I HAVE NOT YET SEEN!! argh!!
i was just thinking the same thing, rebecca! i have yet to see this so-proclaimed amazing film, and i feel like i'm getting too much information.
anyone out there who hasn't seen it or wants to see it again? i'm planning on going some time this week...
I've seen it twice, but I'm up for a third time.
alrighty then. i can now comment on the flick... jt and i saw it tonight! run, sarah, on down to plaza 4.
Renae, I appreciate and totally agree with the comment on growing friendships. What's the context on that one? Saturday night at your place was one of those moments for me- I feel like my friendships with everyone in your living room took one step further just based on random things that people said, or mannerisms I picked up on, etc. My favorite was Charity's -ahem- lighter. Sometimes you just have to hear a four-letter word out of someone's mouth to see them as they really are ;)
Dena, I found it on someone's blog. (I probably should have clarified that none of these are my thoughts or words, just things I have yet to process.) But, yeah, I haven't been able to get it out of my head. And I, too, experienced the truth of it this weekend.
i really enjoy that quote about friendships...i've been realizing lately how important and great those little things can be to a relationship.
