well, it seems that Tommy Lee has been sighted at UNL to start his stint as a reality tv star.
i was thinking today that Bart is a really cool campus minister, and that he could easily persuade Tommy to go to RUF. then if Tommy goes to RUF he could get the Crue together and come to Zion and play special music during the offertory.

That would be awesome. Karen is always saying how she wishes we had some drums for our RUF praise band.
Agreed. Then I can tell people, "Hey! I played with Tommy Lee! At my campus ministry!" And they'll be amazed and impressed.
(And by "amazed and impressed," I mean "confused and horror-struck.")
Wow, Tommy Lee as the newest reality tv star. Yes, i think we'd all agree that Tommy Lee and his ex-wife, the whorish Pamela Anderson, would truly epitomize "reality" in America! (By the way, what is this reality show supposed to be about and on what network? Due to lack of cable, I hadn't even heard about this.)
And yes, Tommy and the Crue would certainly beef up the worship team. In fact, it would probably cave the roof in!
Sorry! I just read Bethany's blog and got all the gory details of Tommy Lee's reality show!!
Best. Offertory. Ever.
Bart said at prayer this morning, if I understood him rightly, that Tommy is supposed to be playing football or something with the Pikes (the fraternity that Bart helps with/is a member of) on Saturday. Evidently the frat guys wanted Bart to come and play because of the obvious potential for a story. "Controversial rock star and campus minister exchange smack talk", or something like that. :o)
Kate G.
bart should totally do that! don't forget the heather locklear connection to our own locklear family at zion. he might show up at zion yet! ;)
and now it makes the Post:

Asked why Lincoln was chosen, Lee responded: "Because it rules, man."
That's great.
Oh yeah! It's widely known that Lincoln rocks. I mean, I even knew that as a sixth grader, thus explaining my glee for moving from the beautiful, mountainous, coastal state of Oregon to this town.
Wow, if somehow Tommy gets to Zion through RUF, I will make a special trip home just to hear that offeratory. Case and Tommy, the next huge thing in worship music.
