I believe the complete term is "nasty nasto." :)

how about the word "congealed"? that's nasty nasto in itself!
some competition: the remains of peanut butter and spagetti noodles that have congealed on the bottom of one of my mugs is nasto.
"congealed" has had a more noticable presence in my vocabulary since our fondue party a couple months ago. i found this warning when looking for recipes:
"DON'T, whatever you do, drink water with your fondue. The cheese will congeal into an enormous ball in your stomach; you won't be able to sleep, go to the toilet, or dream of ever eating another fondue as long as you live."
ha! that's right! you know, I'm not sure I had even heard the word congealed used in a sentence before that party. and what a great party it was...
