EmPHAsis on the wrong sylLAble

I would have thought you would pronounce the plural of "schema" skee MAH tah. But, no, the emphasis goes on the first syllable (which actually makes it more like skEE muh tuh). It's all right here, folks.

1 - I thought it was skee MAH tah also. You learn something new every day.

2 - It's kind of sad that your subject quotes a terrible, terrible movie, but truly the saddest part is that I immediately recognized it.

Wait a second. I've heard MILLIONS of people *say* that subject line (okay, so I exaggerate a little), but I didn't know it was from a movie. What movie? Wha happa?

Ha. I skipped the part where you said, "the PLURAL of" and couldn't for the life of me figure out why everyone thought "schema" was pronounced "schemata." I plead Mommy Brain... It's naptime.
