Family portraits

I love pictures where what’s going on in the background is at least as interesting as what’s going on in the foreground (whether on purpose or a happy accident). Neither of these photos were taken by me (but I’ll claim them for my blog since they were taken with our camera).

Charity got this shot of the Tredways kicking back after dinner on Monday.

And Rebecca caught my guys being tricksy last night at the Blue Orchid.

I agree.  The first one is really interesting and the second one is really fun. Twas great to see you guys and hang out at least for a couple of nights.

This must be your house.  It looks so much like the Tredway’s with the woodwork and similar (same?) floor plan and all, but I don’t recognize all of the furniture and it hasn’t been that long since I’ve been at their house… so yes.  It must be your house.  Very nice!  And, I love the Blue Orchid.  I’ve only been there once, but I have very fond memories of it. smile

i love both of these shots. and am proud to report that the activity in the background was on purpose (though it doesn’t always work out that way). smile

Love the light in the first one. You should take more photos in that exact same spot in your house. smile
