Perhaps we should clarify

We’re trying to teach Simon to love books. So far, so good. He may need a little more direction in terms of primary purpose (but this is good too).

Perhaps he saw a copy of Eugene Peterson’s Eat This Book lying around, and took it literally.

Haha! He’s adorable! Caleb has the same “interest” in books. Can’t convince him to feed himself a cracker, but he’ll gladly eat Dr. Suess!
